Bonus System Overview
The bonus system lets you create and manage promotional offers for your players — from welcome deposit matches to free spins, cashback, and sportsbook freebets. Offers are built from reusable templates and delivered through scheduled campaigns, giving you consistent, auditable control over promotional spend.

Key Concepts
Bonus Templates
A bonus template defines the structure and rules of a bonus so they can be reused across campaigns without re-entering them each time. Deposit and match values are set on a campaign's reward, keeping templates reusable across different offers. A template configures:
- Name and player-facing content
- Wagering multiplier and expiration (in hours)
- Claim method (automatic or manual)
- Winnings distribution (Proportional)
- Game restrictions: eligible game types, specific games, tags, and how ineligible games behave (block or no contribution)
- Per-currency minimum and maximum bet limits, with a violation behavior (block or no contribution)
- Per-currency minimum balance threshold — the bonus is forfeited if the player's balance falls below it
- Conversion caps: an absolute per-currency cap and a relative percentage cap (any excess is forfeited on conversion)
The Bonus Templates list shows each template's wagering multiplier, claim method, expiration, and status at a glance, so operators can confirm an offer's rules before attaching it to a campaign.

Campaigns
Campaigns are the promotional periods during which bonuses are offered. They let you schedule an offer to a defined audience and measure its performance. A campaign carries:
- Start and end dates
- Type (for example, one-time) and opt-in method (automatic or player-initiated)
- Fulfillment condition and the reward it delivers
- Target audience
- Tracking and analytics (such as opted-in and completed counts)
The Campaigns list shows each campaign's type, opt-in method, fulfillment condition, reward, and live analytics, giving operators a single view of what is running and how it is performing.

Player Bonuses
Each bonus granted to a player is tracked individually so support and compliance teams can see exactly where an offer stands. A player bonus records:
- Current status (see the status list below)
- Wagering progress
- Remaining balance
A player bonus moves through the following statuses:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending Claim | Granted but not yet claimed (manual-claim bonuses) |
| Awaiting Slot | Waiting for an active-bonus slot to free up before activating |
| Claimable | Ready for the player to claim |
| Active | Currently in wagering |
| Converted | Wagering completed; bonus converted to cash (terminal success) |
| Consumed | Bonus spent without conversion (terminal) |
| Expired | Reached its expiration before completing wagering |
| Forfeited | Cancelled or forfeited (for example, balance dropped below the minimum threshold) |
The two terminal success states are Converted and Consumed.
Reward Types
Rewards are delivered through a campaign, and each campaign reward has one of the following types:
| Reward Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Bonus Template | Grants a bonus template — as a deposit match (match % plus a maximum bonus per currency) or a fixed absolute amount per currency |
| Free Spins | Free game rounds on a specific game |
| Cashback | Returns a percentage of losses (via a cashback template) |
| Cash Reward | Fixed cash amount per currency, credited directly |
| Freebet | Sportsbook freebet (VeliSports) — see Freebets |
Offers such as "No Deposit" and "Reload" are produced by how a campaign's fulfillment is configured — for example, an instant-reward campaign versus a deposit-fulfilled campaign — rather than by a separate reward type.

Fund Allocation
When a player places bets, funds are debited in this order:
- Cash Balance (used first)
- Bonus Balance (covers the remainder)
Allocation is cash-first: real money is spent before bonus funds are drawn on, which keeps promotional spend accountable and preserves the player's withdrawable balance.
Wagering Requirements
Wagering requirements (playthrough) determine how much a player must bet before bonus funds convert to cash. Clear playthrough terms are a core responsible-gaming and regulatory expectation.
- Example: 30x wagering on a €100 bonus = €3,000 in bets required
- Progress is tracked automatically
- Different games may contribute different percentages
