Create a Bonus
This guide walks you through creating a new bonus template.
Accessing Bonus Templates
A bonus template holds the wagering and eligibility terms in one place, so every campaign that grants this bonus applies the same rules to every player who receives it.
- Click Bonuses in the sidebar navigation to open the Bonus Templates page.
- Review the existing templates. Each row shows the template name, wagering multiplier, claim method, expiration, the player-facing popup web address (URL), and status, with counts of total, active, and inactive templates displayed above the list.
- Click the Create Template button to open the template form.

Basic Information
Template name
On the Settings tab, enter a descriptive internal name (for example, "Welcome Bonus 100%"). This name identifies the template to your team when you attach it to a campaign and is not shown to players.
Player-facing content
On the Content tab, enter the Title and Description that players see. Both are entered per language, so each player reads the offer in their own language, and the Description supports markdown formatting for the key terms, conditions, and any restrictions. Clear, localized terms keep the offer transparent for players and support your responsible-gaming obligations.
A bonus template defines the wagering and eligibility rules that apply once a bonus is granted. The match percentage, the maximum bonus per currency, and the free-spin count and coin value are set on a campaign's reward when the template is used in a campaign. See Campaigns.
Template Form
The create and edit form has two tabs: Settings and Content. The Settings tab holds the core rules:

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Template Name | Internal name (required). |
| Wagering Multiplier | How many times the bonus must be wagered before winnings convert to cash (minimum 1, step 0.1; defaults to 35). |
| Expiration (hours) | How long the player has to complete wagering. |
| Claim Method | Auto (credited immediately) or Manual (the player must claim it). |
| Winnings Distribution | Proportional — winnings return to the funding source (cash or bonus) in proportion to the bet. |
| Status | Active or Inactive. |
Below these fields are three collapsible sections — Game Restrictions, Bet Amount Limits, and Balance Threshold & Conversion Cap — described below. Wagering terms determine a bonus's real cost, so set them deliberately before activating. The Content tab holds the player-facing Title and Description covered above.
Wagering Requirements
Wagering multiplier
Set how many times the bonus must be wagered before winnings can convert to cash — for example, 35 means the player must wager 35 times the bonus amount. This is a numeric input (minimum 1, step 0.1; defaults to 35). The multiplier is the main lever on a bonus's cost, so choose it to match the offer's intended value.
Game contributions
Inside Game Restrictions, the Wagering Contribution Rates section sets how much each game type counts toward wagering. A default rate applies to all games, and you can override it per game type. Typical settings:
| Game Type | Typical Contribution |
|---|---|
| Slots | 100% |
| Table Games | 10-20% |
| Video Poker | 10% |
| Live Casino | 10% |
Lower contribution rates on high-return games protect the bonus from being cleared with minimal risk.
Bet amount limits
In the Bet Amount Limits section you set a Minimum Bet Amount and Maximum Bet Amount per currency, so limits stay correct in every currency you offer. You also choose what happens when a bet falls outside the limits:
- Block — the bet is rejected.
- No Contribution — the bet is allowed but does not count toward wagering.
Bet-size limits stop players clearing wagering with a single oversized bet.
Expiration Settings
Validity period
Set Expiration (hours) on the Settings tab — the number of hours a player has to complete wagering, entered as any value (for example, 168 for seven days). A defined validity window keeps bonus liability time-bound and predictable.
Balance threshold & conversion cap
Winnings distribution is Proportional. The Balance Threshold & Conversion Cap section controls how much bonus balance can leave as cash:
- Min Balance Threshold (per currency) — when the bonus balance drops below this after a bet, the remaining balance is forfeited.
- Max Conversion Amount (per currency) — the most bonus balance that can convert to cash on completion; any excess is forfeited.
- Max Conversion % — a relative cap as a percentage of the original bonus amount, combined with the absolute cap as the smaller of the two. Leave it empty to disable it.
Conversion caps limit how much a bonus can pay out, keeping promotional cost within plan.
Eligible Games
The Game Restrictions section has three optional inputs:
- Eligible Game Types — a checkbox list of game types, including Sportsbook.
- Specific Eligible Games — a game picker, filtered by the selected game types and tags.
- Filter by Tags — restrict eligibility by game tag.
When game types, specific games, and tags are all left empty, the bonus is eligible for all games, including Sportsbook. Scoping eligible games lets you steer bonus play toward the games a promotion is meant to feature.
You also set the behavior when a player bets on an ineligible game:
- Block — the bet is rejected.
- No Contribution — the bet is allowed but does not count toward wagering.
Save the Template
- Review all settings.
- Set Status to Active or Inactive in the form — Active makes the template available to attach to campaigns.
- Click Create Template (or Update Template when editing) to save.
Always test bonus templates with a test account before launching to real players.
