Commissions

The Commissions section lets you view, approve, and reject the commission a partner has earned. Commissions are created automatically from the activity of the players attributed to each affiliate, using the rates set on the affiliate's commission plan.

Key Terms

Define these once here; the rest of the page uses the short forms.

Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) is a fixed payment per qualifying Player. First-Time Deposit (FTD) means a Player's first successful deposit. Revenue Share (RevShare) is an affiliate commission model based on a percentage of generated revenue. Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR) is total bets minus total wins before bonus costs.

TermMeaning
Cost Per Acquisition (CPA)A fixed commission paid for a qualifying player action, such as a registration or a first deposit.
First-Time Deposit (FTD)A player's first successful deposit.
Revenue Share (RevShare)A commission model that pays a percentage of the revenue the partner's players generate.
Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR)Total player bets minus total player wins, before bonus costs are considered.

Accessing Commissions

Open an affiliate from the Affiliates list, then select the Commissions tab. The tab lists the individual commissions earned by that partner, most recent first, with paging controls at the bottom.

Commission List Columns

ColumnDescription
DateWhen the commission was created.
TypeCPA Registration, CPA FTD, or RevShare.
Player IDThe attributed player, shown as a shortened identifier.
AmountThe commission amount, shown with its currency.
StatusThe current commission status.
ActionsApprove and Reject, shown only while a commission is Pending.

The base amount and commission rate behind each commission are also recorded and used in the calculation, but they are not shown as separate columns.

Commission Statuses

StatusDescription
PendingCreated and awaiting review.
ApprovedReviewed and cleared for payout.
PaidPayment has been completed.
CancelledThe commission will not be paid — this is the state the Reject action produces.
ChargedbackA previously counted commission was reversed, for example after a player's payment was charged back.

Rejecting a commission moves it to Cancelled.

How Commissions Are Generated

CPA Registration commission

  • Created when a player registers through the affiliate's tracking link.
  • A fixed amount, taken from the affiliate's commission plan.
  • Starts as Pending and waits for review.

CPA FTD commission

  • Created when an attributed player makes their first deposit.
  • A fixed amount, taken from the affiliate's commission plan.
  • Starts as Pending and waits for review.

RevShare commission

  • A percentage of the GGR the partner's attributed players generate.
  • RevShare is worked out over a window of activity (daily, weekly, or monthly) rather than one row per player: the partner's players, deposits, and GGR for the window are totalled, and the RevShare percentage is applied to that total.

Approving Commissions

Commissions start as Pending and must be approved before they can be paid. Approval is a manual review checkpoint: it lets you confirm the underlying player activity is genuine before any money is committed to a partner, which is the main safeguard against paying out on fraudulent or invalid referrals.

  1. Open the affiliate's Commissions tab.
  2. Review the Pending commissions in the list.
  3. Click Approve on each commission you want to clear.
  4. The commission moves to Approved and is lined up for payout.

Rejecting Commissions

Reject a commission when the activity behind it should not be paid — this is how you stop a payout on suspected fraud, a self-referral, a terms-of-service breach, or an invalid player account.

  1. Open the affiliate's Commissions tab.
  2. Find the Pending commission to reject.
  3. Click Reject.
  4. The commission moves to Cancelled and will not be paid.

Keep a note of why each commission was rejected so the decision can be explained if a partner queries it.

Commission Summary

The affiliate's overview shows a summary of the partner's commissions:

MetricDescription
Total CommissionsThe all-time commission total.
PendingCommissions awaiting approval.
ApprovedCommissions approved but not yet paid.
PaidCommissions that have been paid out.

Calculating RevShare

RevShare is calculated on GGR. Bonus costs are not subtracted:

RevShare = GGR × RevShare % (GGR = Player Bets − Player Wins)

Each player's GGR is first aggregated in that player's own currency, then converted to the operator's currency before the RevShare percentage is applied, so partners with players across several currencies are settled consistently in one currency.

Example (operator currency EUR):

  • Player total bets: €10,000
  • Player total wins: €9,200
  • GGR: €800
  • RevShare rate: 30%
  • Commission: €240

Good Practice

  • Review Pending commissions regularly so partner payouts are not held up.
  • Look into unusual patterns before approving — commission amounts well above a partner's norm, or a cluster of new players with little genuine play.
  • Watch for signs of abuse such as several players sharing one address, or accounts that deposit and withdraw immediately without real activity.
  • Keep records of rejections to help resolve any partner dispute.
